Morehead State University is preparing for its accreditation renewal examination by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

The university's accreditation was last renewed by the agency, a coalition of more than 30 professional education associations and education policy makers, in 1998.

Kentucky is currently a full partnership state with NCATE.
